Home at last!!!!!!!

Hey,

Home at last

Home and glad to be home. Greenville is very fun ( IF YOUR NOT IN A HOSPITAL.) I have a bright orange cast on my right leg. Chandler has two braces on his legs he could walk with a walker but that hurts and the Doc. said that he should stay off it. If he did walk on a walker it would have to be hopping on his left leg (if you were to look at them and compare them his left leg is the worst.) Saturday may the 16 Chandler's rod that is in his right leg started coming out and so they had to go to greenville again and htey just told him to stay off it. Chandler got home and is very happy to be here and I am tooooo. I'm to grandmas now with Chandler. He was the first to sign my cast. I had to tell every one for 2 days that they could not sign it until he did. Things now are good. I have alot of gifts form people that I really dont even know but that is ok...

To those who look at my blog, sorry I have not wrote lately. I'll try to do better. Life for a young teenager has been hectic. School, volleyball practice and games, band & getting ready for the christmas concert, church and YW, and being between two homes. Staying part time with my mama and part time with my daddy. I love both of them very much, but hate being torn between the two of them.

Thanksgiving is around the corner and that means Christmas is close. I love the holidays and all that comes with them. The differant smells, food, trees, lights, decorations and family gatherings. At my daddy's the Christmas tree is already up. How will my brother and I spend the holidays this year? Two families...that will be really different. Sometimes change isn't good. I liked it the way it has always been before. I guess we'll manage and get through it some how.

Some of my family that lives in Georgia will be here next week. I can't wait to see my cousins. I wish they lived here around all the family so we could be together all the time like we always have been, except the past 1 1/2 years. I love to see them come, I hate to see them go. This time I will meet a new cousin and I bet I will love her just like I love the res tof my family. Her name is Mali Anna. I haven't seen her since she was born Oct 14th. I cant wait to get the chance to hold and kiss her.

I have been busy in school trying to keep my grades up!! The main reason is that I am on the Down East Volleyball team. I am working very hard to be the best I can in school, Volleyball, and in everything I do. I am not 100% good at everything!! But at least I am trying to!!

Just in case it takes me a long time to blog again, have a belly full of turkey and lots of sweets to eat. Happy Thanksgiving!!

My First Talk

Last week the young men and women along with our leaders traveled by bus to New York. We had fun on the bus, but the ride was very long. While we were there, we visited the church historical sites and saw the Hill Camorah Pagent. I enjoyed the pagent alot. My favorite part of the trip was when we went to the Sacred Grove. A couple of weeks ago, I asked my grandma, "how do you know you have a testimony, and if the church is true". After we talked for a whille, I was encourged to find out for myself. When we got to the Sacred Grove, a prayer was said by a leader & we all recited: Joseph Smith History 16-17. Then we all was given a letter written by a family member. As we reverently went in the grove, each found a quiet place to read our letter. After I read my letter, I closed my eyes prayed. I asked Heavenly Father, did Joseph Smith really see Heavenly Father and his Son Jesus Christ in the grove of trees? Was Joseph Smith a true prophet? Were the things I had been taught by my parents, grandparents, teachers and church leaders true? I kept my eyes closed waiting for an answer. A warm felling came over me. I felt my prayer had been answered. I know that all these things are true. I know we also have a prophet on the earth today. Pres. Monson leads our church and guides us by revelation from our Father in Heaven. I know my prayers are heard and answered. I'm thankful for my family and leaders who help teach me the things that are right. I hope my testimony will grow stronger each day.
In The Name Of Jesus Christ,
Amen
I was scared to death, but I got through it. I guess I can do it again. But hopefully not anytime soon

New York Trip!!

Last week I went on a trip to NY with our church. We went to the Sacred Grove and to the Pagent. We had a lot of fun on the bus, but the ride was very long. We all kept changing seats the whole time. We went to a couple of Book Stores and we got stuff for people. Ethen Lynk got a Capt. Moroni mini statue. He was playing with it and lost it. Then the next day he had looked alot for him, he found it in Tanner's bag.
